Proper Maintenance of Quartz Countertops

Accidents happen and sometimes spills can occur or even dry on your countertops. There's nothing to worry about! Quartz countertops are non-porous meaning it's stain resistant, so spills and stains aren't absorbed by the surface. Another bonus with quartz is you don't have to seal the quartz annually like you do with granite. This makes maintenance and cleaning quartz very simple! We still recommended cleaning any spills and stains immediately but with quartz you can have the ease of mind that it won't stain the counters if you don't.

Quartz is one of the most durable material used for countertops however, we still recommend using a cutting board to protect the surface and prevent knives from dulling over time. Quartz countertops are heat resistant but not heat proof, so refrain from placing any hot pots pans on the surface.

Any major scuffs or stains that can't be removed with the conventional method of soap and water, we recommend using our specialty quartz cleaner. It's made especially for stone countertops and will keep your countertops revitalized and looking brand new!
